Hi I've had the same issue on my a220d 63 plate today taking it London I had reverse not possible come up I've never had aclass before now so Donno what's going on only 89000. Once in a blue moon, the transmission computer would enter some error/safety state when it failed to downshift at a low speed and lose 1,3,5 and Reverse (which to my understanding requires the odd gears)

I have a warning message "Reversing Not Possible - Service Required" that came up twice within 3 days on my 2018 GLA250 4Matic As soon as i was picking up speed after merging the dash beeped an alert " Reversing not possible I get this issue while driving forward and not while reversing at the time changing gear from D6 to D7 and suddenly it shifted to D2 and difficult to speed up.

Why is my BMW not reversing? Oceanside Motorsports. Dealership guy comes and they physically push the car in reverse and it drives forward fine. I was wondering if this is a normal issue and if I shouldn't be worried about it
